چکیده
Entity matching (EM) refers to the problem of identifying tuple pairs in one or more relations that refer same real world entities. Supervised machine learning (ML) approaches, and deep based approaches particular, typically achieve state-of-the-art results. However, these require many labeled examples, form non-matching pairs, which are expensive time-consuming label. In this paper, we introduce Panda, a weakly supervised system specifically designed for EM. Panda uses labeling function abstraction as Snorkel, where functions (LF) user-provided programs can generate large amounts (somewhat noisy) labels quickly cheaply, then be combined via model accurate final predictions. To support users developing LFs EM, provides an integrated development environment (IDE) lives modern browser architecture. Panda's IDE facilitates development, debugging, life-cycle management context EM tasks, similar how IDEs such Visual Studio Eclipse excel general-purpose programming. includes novel features purpose-built smart data sampling, builtin library utility functions, automatically generated LFs, visual debugging finally, EM-specific model. We show demo greatly accelerate high-quality solutions using weak supervision.

Java’s support for parallel and distributed processing makes the language attractive for metacomputing applications, such as parallel applications that run on geographically distributed (wide-area) systems. To obtain actual experience with a Java-centric approach to metacomputing, we have built and used a high-performance widearea Java system, called Manta. Manta implements the Java RMI model u...

The researchers used recordings of a sentinel's 'watchman's song' played back at different heights to observe the differences in behaviour. And indeed they found that the higher a song was transmitted, the more confident foragers were in extending the distance and duration of their activities. When sentinels moved to a higher position, their probability of detecting predators is likely to be gr...

Preface This document is the Technical Design Report covering the two large spectrometer magnets of the PANDA detector setup. It shows the conceptual design of the magnets and their anticipated performance. It precedes the tender and procurement of the magnets and, hence, is subject to possible modifications arising during this process. The use of registered names, trademarks, etc. in this publ...
متن کاملPandA: Pairings and Arithmetic
This paper introduces PandA, a software framework for Pairings and Arithmetic. It is designed to bring together advances in the efficient computation of cryptographic pairings and the development and implementation of pairing-based protocols. The intention behind the PandA framework is to give protocol designers and implementors easy access to a toolbox of all functions needed for implementing ...
متن کاملPANDA Grid Activities
PANDA Grid is the present computing infrastructure of the PANDA@FAIR experiment, but concerted efforts are put into evolving it beyond that, into a complete and transparent solution for physics simulation, reconstruction and analysis, right at the fingertips of the physicist.
